PEOPLE'S CHOICE HEADSHOT SESSION : October 11, 2025 at 2pm ( Wear Yellow) ​
TX STATE COMPETITION 
By completing your registration you agree to take part in the STARS OF AMERICA  State  Pageant, you are recognizing, accepting and agreeing that you have read the rules and regulations and agree to abide by participating in the state competition. All state division winners are required to compete at the upcoming STARS OF AMERICA NATIONAL Pageant.

Contestant Expectations : 
- Required attendance at registration 
- Required attendance at orientation and rehearsals
- Participation in required competitions
- Maintain a professional behavior with respectful communication
- Adhere to wardrobe and agenda requirements. 
- Arrive on time to all events
- Only one assistant / parent is allowed in dressing room 
- No one is allowed back stage
- Winners will be required to stay for the winning circle photos and signing.

State titleholders advance to Stars of America National Competition. 

Required Wardrobe : 
- Business Casual look for Registration / Orientation / Arrival 
- Black Leggings and Black tank for Rehearsals
- White Dress ( Sunday Best) 
- White Jeans 
- Nude Heels 
- Dress Heels of choice
- Runway Fashion Gown ( Example pictured on the left , aqua dress) 
- Evening Ball Gown ( example pictured on the left first picture) 
- Black Gown for Gala 
- Dinner Hat and Cocktail Dress for banquet 
- Red Gown for Winning Circle ( winners ) 
- Black leggings and athletic shoes for Fitness Optional 
- Fashion Look for talent option  / Props 
-  Top Model Fashion Attire for Competition Optional 
- Hot Pink Dress in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness 
- Makeup for Nation 1 ( Little Miss, Princess, Tiny Miss) must be natural- light stage makeup is acceptable. 
- For Nation 2 (Miss / MS / MRS / TEEN ) nails and Hair must remain as natural as possible, Please avoid extra long nails and over the top eye lash extensions. 
-- All contestants are responsible for personal garments and any items brought to the main venue, dressing room or assigned areas.

You can sign up for one or all optional competitions to add to your experience!!

Some Optional competitions have entry fees and are due before Pageant Competitions begin. 

Delegates must bring their own props, music, and costumes for their elected optional competitions. Please have all props approved by the director before bringing them to competition.  

Peoples Choice: 
Headshots will be displayed online via Instagram / FB at @starsofamericatexas
all likes, shares, stories, and comments will be counted as votes. All votes must be made from original post on the @starsoftexas pages. After the free voting period has expired , the $1 voting will begin for 72 hours to benefit the SOA Scholarship Program, link will be provided. Winner will receive the People's Choice Award which carries a 5 point advantage in case of a tie and 2 GA tickets to final event. 

Heritage Costume : the heritage costume is an optional competition which will award the best costume in representation of the delegates culture , however it is also a qualifying category for the LATINA DIVISION ​--
The entry fee for the Texas Latina division is $375 which includes required competitions for Texas as well as heritage costume and on stage interview.  The Latina Division title competition will qualify the winner for the STARS OF AMERICA LATINA USA National pageant. --- The fee as an optional is $100. 
TEXAS TOP MODEL : 
Become the TEXAS TOP MODEL and qualify for the National Top Model competition for your chance at the USA TOP MODEL Title  -State Winner receives paid entry to national top model competition , cover of Ragazza Bazaar Magazine, designer spotlight shoot and SOA Top Model Sash.

Training & Coaching:
We will provide all delegates with rehearsal time during pageant weekend. 
An orientation will be provided in person or online for all fully paid delegates.  However, personal coaching and modeling classes are offered via Ragazza Bazaar Modeling and Talent Agency. Classes will be available in person or online.  You may register online at www.ragazzabazaarmodels.com 

Non Compete: Delegates are expected to have SOA as priority and represent the title with integrity. You are allowed to participate as a judge, host, or special guest, however, you may not compete for another state or national title. SOA TX LOCAL AND STATE Titles are exclusive and will be prioritized through your contracted year.

STARS OF AMERICA ( SOA) reserves the right to change the date, location, and competition details of the state pageant at its discretion.
  • All monies paid to SOA TEXAS   are non-refundable and non-transferable. No refunds are provided for any reason including, but not limited to, payments made on behalf of the delegate by advertisers and sponsors and any and all fees paid to SOA Texas by delegates, supporters, sponsors, or advertisers.
  • In the event that you withdrawal from SOA TEXAS you will not receive any gifts/items from Sponsors and/or items/products listed within the competition fee.
  • Registering to represent your state or regional title is a promise and commitment to attend the National Pageant Finals and you are assuming all responsibility for payment of all pageant fees, inclusive of all payment and paperwork submission deadlines as established by the STARS OF AMERICA USA NAIIONAL PAGEANT.
  • Delegates and their parents agree to show sportsman-like behavior during and after the Sate and/or the national pageant. Any person(s) found in violation of this will not be allowed to compete with SOA International in any further competitions.
  • Delegates and their parents/guardians understand and agree that judges decisions are final.
  • Delegates that are crowned State Royalty at the state pageant will be required to sign a state titleholders contract, which is inclusive of a no-compete clause for any other pageant system.  Titleholders also agree to return to the following national pageant to crown their successor.
  • Delegates and their parents/guardians hereby give permission for any and all photographs, videos, and/or audio files to be used for promotional and publicity purposes in print media and social media as well as the internet.
  • STARS OF AMERICA TEXAS  is not liable or responsible for any prizes forfeited by sponsors.
  • All outstanding balances must be paid in full in order to compete at the state pageant. Delegates will not receive production wardrobe, tickets, passes, etc. until payment is made in full of any outstanding balance.

​Rules determining eligibility:
  • All delegates must be of good standing, good moral character, and never posed nude in any form of media.​
  • All delegates  must be a natural born female. 
  • All delegates must reside in and be a citizen of the United States or have proof of permanent residency.
  • State titleholders will be required to remain eligible until National Pageant has taken place, failure to do see will result in a noncompliance fee of $250.00
  • MRS , MISS, MS, and Teen divisions must not be pregnant during the year of local service, state service, or national service and must remain eligible as required for their respective titles.
  • No photography or video may be taken inside the event venue during the pageant unless you have purchased the photo package - $75 includes digital photo of each category, $150 to include optional competitions ( does not include stage photography.)
  • DUAL ENTRY ;  delegates may register for more than one division , Latina , Petite , and Top Model for the opportunity to win more entry opportunities to nationals.  Dual entries are eligible for dual win.

Stars of America Magazine 

All contestants get a featured page in the 2025 issue , featuring  your Peoples Choice headshot designed to meet the magazine requirements  -- the page can include up to 5 sponsor mentions by form of message ( no logos) -- Sponsored pages can be added at $75 per page that can feature one logo and your photo design. All photos must be submitted by October 1, 2025. Contestants will receive one copy, additional copies $25. ( Max 10 pages total per contestant)
